OFF MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES

How your OnePassNZ works

Your OnePassNZ is a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) ‘smart card’ that electronically stores all your lift and mountain products. It also acts as an ‘activity pass’ if you decide not to ski for the day.

OnePassNZ is your lift pass

At Cardrona & Treble Cone you can go straight to the lifts with your OnePassNZ card in your pocket. Once at the lift the smart gate will automatically scan your pass.

  • Keep the pass in an outside pocket on your upper body. The pass cannot be read below waist level.
  • Some items can interfere with the scanning beam (mobile phones, metallic objects, including coins and other RFID cards/products). Keep these items away from your OnePassNZ and the scanning area (upper body).
  • Do not bend or punch holes in your pass
  • If you change jackets remember to transfer your pass.

At the other 5 ski areas please present your OnePassNZ at the ticket office. It will be scanned by one of their team and exchanged for a paper pass.

Activate your OnePassNZ for all the bells and whistles!

To make the most of your clever OnePassNZ activate your personal profile online enter the code on your card, create a username and password and you are ready to go! Once logged into your profile you can:

  • Top up your card with Snow$, lift passes and rental gear, lift & rental packages and lessons.
  • ‘Convert’ your OnePassNZ products for Snow$ that can be used towards any of the 45+ of mountain activities.
  • Keep track of your on slope stats at Cardrona & Treble Cone (days skied, run count, vertical metres covered)

Off Mountain Fun

If you decide not to ski for the day use OnePassNZ ‘Snow$’ to pay for your off mountain fun. You can purchase Snow$ online or convert your pre purchased mountain products into Snow$. The easiest way to do this is by logging onto your online account via smartphone or computer. OnePassNZ outlets and activity partners can also convert your mountain products to Snow$.

It is important to note –

  • Most operators accept a maximum of $85 Snow$ per transaction
  • Some operators do have Snow$ exclusions (e.g. Merchandise). Please check directly with the operator
  • Snow$ are non-refundable and expire 31st October 2013

What are Snow$ worth?

When purchased directly each Snow$1 has a value of $1NZD.

If you are converting mountain products into Snow$ you will receive approximately 90% of the retail value of each product. For instance an adult day lift pass converts to Snow$85.
